Overall a nice place to grab a meal, very clean and inviting interior with decent to good value for SF ~ Solid Chicken Teriyaki Donburi for $16 roughly Okay Philly Roll for $8 And Overpriced Bonfire Roll for $18 ~ highlight of the orde was the open flame on the plate, NOT the dish itselfl

been meaning to come here for awhile and it was definitely worth it! the prices are reasonable with a wide array of options on the menu (it’s lowkey overwhelming but great to have options!). i shared a couple smaller dishes with my partner and they were all delicious. we got a few sushi rolls, the kastudon, and skewers. all of it GREAT!the service was great too. would totally come again with a bigger crowd :)

Here for dinner last night. Very fresh and creative specialty fish dishes in addition to traditional sushi offerings, friendly and attentive service, lively and attractive room; they also have three private rooms for party/group meals and karaoke. Reasonably priced and they have $1 oyster nights (not sure on when these are offered). Recommend.

They reopened after a renovation, it’s very nice inside with plenty of Japanese style booths to sit in. The food was good, we got chirashi, beef don, chicken gizzards, oysters, and a yuzu cheesecake. They were all satisfying, it was just the gizzards that were a bit too charred. The prices were great as well, affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants nowadays. Service was quick and they are very attentive. We had a good experience and will definitely be back!

Been here once after hours of playing basketball. Upon arrival, the ambiance was modern and entertaining. Didn’t wait much since I knew someone that worked here and was seated almost immediately. Was seated at the tables were you take off your shoes and cross cross your legs which made it a very authentic experience. I don’t usually eat raw fish but I did here and enjoyed some sake along the way. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves to eat, drink or just to have a great time with their laid back type of vibes. Definitely will be back!

First time at the Clement Sakesan. Came for happy hour and was not disappointed. Very good pricing for the quality of food. Extremely attentive service that always has needs in mind. Takoyaki was solid, roll with unagi hit the spot and the mackerel was fantastic. Seated in those sunken tables for the most fun experience.

The food here is fantastic! Some of the best Japanese food and sushi I've ever had. I highly recommend the Ankimo (steamed monkfish liver) especially with how reasonably priced it is during happy hour. What's more to love about the food here is the price to quality ratio. Very reasonably price, yet so very delicious. You will not be dissapointed for how much you spend in relation to the enjoyment and flavor profile you'll get from your meal. The service on the otherhand, is comically poor. It's as if you are interupting their day by arriving at the restaurant with the intention of ordering food from, y'know, the restaraunt There's a sense that they're upset and perturbed to be serving you. It's nearly impossible to get smile from anyone or get any sense that they seem to be engaged or at least content in their work. Perhaps they are family members of the owner(s)? Anyhow, they do not seem to be happy to be there or happy that you are either. I only give the atmosphere 4 out of 5 due to the quality of the front of house staff, as I find that to also be a factor of the "vibe" of a place. Other than that, the simple, minimalist vibe with low seating in the front is quite fantastic!
